MOSCOW MULE

2 oz vodka
1 oz fresh lime juice
1 oz Shrub & Co Spicy Ginger
club soda

Combine all ingredients, except club soda, into a shaker then add ice. Shake well and strain into an ice-filled copper mug, then top with 3–4 ounces of club soda. Stir to combine, then garnish with a lime wheel.

 

JOHNNY UTAH

2 oz rye
½ oz Cocchi Americano
½ oz Shrub & Co Spicy Ginger
2 dashes orange bitters

Pour ingredients into a mixing glass, then add ice. Stir well, then strain into a rocks glass with a large ice cube. Express the oil of a swath of orange peel, then place it in the glass.

 

RUM & ROOT

2 oz Jamaican rum
¾ oz Shrub & Co Spicy Ginger
½ oz velvet falernum
½ oz fresh lime juice

Combine all ingredients in a mixing tin and shake with 1 cup of crushed ice. Roll all ingredients into a Collins glass, then top with additional crushed ice. Garnish with a lime wheel.

PALOMAESQUE

2 oz tequila or mezcal
1 oz Shrub & Co Grapefruit
¾ oz fresh grapefruit juice
¼ oz agave syrup
dash of pink salt
club soda

Combine all ingredients, except club soda, into a cocktail shaker, then add ice. Shake and strain into an ice-filled highball, then top with club soda.

 

HEMINGWAY DAIQUIRI

2 oz white rum
¾ oz fresh lime juice
½ oz fresh grapefruit juice
½ oz maraschino liqueur
¼ oz Shrub & Co Grapefruit

Combine ingredients in a cocktail shaker, then add ice. Shake well and double-strain into glass.

 

THE BITTER TRUTH

1 ½ oz vermouth bianco
1 ½ oz Luxardo Bitter Bianco
1 oz Shrub & Co Grapefruit
1 ½ oz soda water in bottom of glass

Combine ingredients (except soda water) in shaker, then add ice.  Pour soda water into a Collins glass over ice.  Shake and strain contents of cocktail shaker into glass, then garnish with a grapefruit swath.

BEE’S KNEES

2 oz gin
½ oz Shrub & Co Yucatan Honey
¼ oz fresh lemon juice

Add ingredients to a cocktail shaker, then add ice. Shake and strain into a chilled coupe. Garnish with lemon.

 

MINT JULEP

2 ½ oz bourbon
½ oz Shrub & Co Yucatan Honey
fresh mint

In a chilled julep tin, gently press 4–5 small mint leaves together with the shrub. Fill the cup with crushed ice, then add bourbon. Mound more ice over the top and garnish with a bouquet of mint.

 

HONEY & SMOKE

1 ½ oz Kina L’Aero d’Or
¾ oz Shrub & Co Yucatan Honey
½ oz mezcal
¼ oz fresh lemon juice
large barspoon demerara syrup

Add ingredients to a shaker, then add ice.  Shake well and double strain into rocks glass over ice.

RYE JACK ROSE

1 ½ oz rye
¾ oz Shrub & Co Apple
½ oz fresh lemon juice
¼ oz grenadine 

Pour ingredients into a cocktail shaker, then add ice. Shake well and strain into glass. Garnish with lemon peel.

 

HARVEST

1 ½ oz cognac
¾ oz Shrub & Co Apple
½ oz Amontillado sherry
¼ oz fresh lemon juice

Pour ingredients into a shaker, then add ice. Shake and strain into glass. Garnish with a swath of lemon.

 

APPLE OF MY EYE

2 oz pisco
1 ½ oz Shrub & Co Apple
½ oz fresh lemon juice
½ oz Creme de Noyaux
1 egg white

Combine ingredients in a shaking tin, then dry shake. Add ice, shake, and double strain into coupe. Garnish with a Peychaud's Bitters swirl.

Blood Orange

PISCO SOUR

2 oz pisco
½ oz Shrub & Co Blood Orange
¼ oz fresh lemon juice
barspoon simple syrup
1 small egg white

Combine ingredients in a cocktail shaker and dry shake. Add ice to shaker, then shake well. Strain into a chilled coupe and garnish with Angostura Bitters swirl.

 

IMPROVED APERITIVO COCKTAIL

2 oz prosecco
2 oz Aperitivo Luxardo
1 oz Shrub & Co Blood Orange
1 oz club soda

Build in wine glass, then add ice.  Garnish with orange swath and flower.

 

SIRACUSA

2 oz sweet vermouth
¾ oz Shrub & Co Blood Orange
½ oz rye
dash of orange bitters

Pour ingredients into a mixing glass, then add ice. Stir well then strain into an ice-filled rocks glass. Garnish with a large swath of orange.

cranberry Douglas Fir

CALL IT A TREUSE

1 ½ oz Shrub & Co Cranberry
¾ oz Alessio Vino Chinato
½ oz Junipero Gin
¼ oz Green Chartreuse

Pour ingredients into shaker, then add ice.  Shake and double strain into coupe, garnish with an orange swath.

 

ROUGE

1 ½ oz gin
¾ oz Shrub & Co Cranberry
½ oz sweet vermouth

Pour ingredients into mixing glass, then add ice. Stir well and strain into glass. Mist with oil from lemon peel and set it in the glass.

 

COSMOPOLITAN

1 ½ oz vodka
¾ oz Shrub & Co Cranberry
½ oz Cointreau
½ oz fresh lime juice 

Combine ingredients in a cocktail shaker, then add ice. Shake well and strain into a coupe, garnish with a lime wheel.

Peach

SPACE COWBOY

2 oz rye
¾ oz Shrub & Co Peach
½ oz Gran Classico Bitter
¼ oz fresh lemon juice

Build ingredients in a cocktail shaker, then add ice. Shake and strain into an ice-filled rocks glass. Garnish with a large swath of lemon.

 

DOWN SOUTH SANGRIA

4 oz rosé
1 oz Shrub & Co Peach
1 oz Kina L’Aero d’Or
1 oz soda water
2 dashes Angostura Bitters

Build ingredients in a wine glass. Add cube ice, then garnish with a mint sprig and peach fan.  

 

PEACH SHRUB BELLINI

1 oz Shrub & Co Peach
Dry sparkling wine 

Pour shrub into a tulip shaped glass or flute, then fill with sparkling wine. Garnish with a slice of fresh peach when in season, or a lemon twist.

BRITTANY SHIM

2 oz blanc vermouth
¾ oz Shrub & Co Strawberry
fresh tarragon
club soda

Muddle about six tarragon leaves in a shaker. Add shrub and vermouth, then ice. Shake and strain into an ice-filled glass, then top with club soda.

 

BOW & EROS

1 ½ oz rye
¾ oz Shrub & Co Strawberry
½ oz fresh lime juice
¼ oz demerara syrup
1 egg white
5-8 mint leaves

In a shaker, gently muddle mint leaves together with strawberry shrub.  Add the other ingredients and dry shake.  Add ice, then shake and strain into coupe.  
(Optional: absinthe mist in glass.)

 

SOUTHERN SPRITZ

1 oz bourbon
¾ oz Shrub & Co Strawberry
½ oz Aperol
½ oz fresh lemon juice
Champagne (or other dry sparkling wine)

Pour all ingredients, except sparkling wine, into a cocktail shaker then fill with ice. Shake and strain into an ice-filled Collins glass. Top with sparkling wine and lemon zest.
